Happy New Year 2019

posted 3 Jan 2019, 04:29 by

We hope you all have enjoyed a very happy Christmas and fun new year celebrations, whether you were partying or quietly at home.

Term starts on Monday 7th January, however, this is an INSET day so we look forward to seeing you again from Wednesday 9th January.

Please remember we explore the wonderful outdoors every day so ensure your child has appropriate clothing; wellington boots or a change of shoes, jumper and warm/waterproof coat.

We also like to explore them messy side of life inside and out so please dress your child in clothing which will wash well or are not important if they get stained!

Project for the first half term is dark and light/day and night.

Mothers Day and Easter

posted 31 Mar 2011, 09:16 by

Children have been very busy making cards for Mothers Day and Easter over the last couple of weeks.  Earlier in the year we planted daffodil bulbs which have been growing, cared for diligently by the children, and are about to flower in time to give to their mums for Mothers Day on Sunday.
We are now making a "rabbit" pencil holder together to take home for Easter - they are looking very cute!
On Friday 8th the children will set off on a Spring Walk around the village, for which they will have collected sponsors, to help raise funds for the group so we can give the children some little extras over the year.  When they return from their walk parents and carers, friends, relatives are all invited to return around 11.00am to share hot cross buns, egg hunts and enjoy a coffee or tea with us.  Keep your fingers cross for good weather; although the children won't mind if it rains, they love jumping in puddles!
